Fun House Pizza & Pub in Independence

Pizza is AMAZING!!! Love the atmosphere. Been going to this place since I was a kid.

It's our regular hangout. I think it could really use a revamp, because it's dark and dreary. It would be nice if the employees would smile.

Fun House pizza is a must see for every new independence visitor. Everyone I’ve ever introduced to the pizza swears it is at the top of their list.The pizza is different from other medium crust pizzas. The crust is crispy throughout and has a cracker exterior with a softer interior. I like my orders extra baked.

The pizza was actually really good. This was my first time here. The place seemed pretty run down though. And what's with all the bars on the windows and door. How bad is the neighborhood?

This was my first and last time to this place. The pizza is not good at all. The crust is thick and hard as a rock. I like somethings like that but not my pizza crust. It did have alot of topping but not much cheese, and the sauce was thick and not good either. $45 for 2 pizzas I expected better pizza.

Got a Lrg Combo as I have been doing for 50 yrs. It was the best one ever! Crust was really cooked perfect. Nice and crispy! Staff in the bar could have been friendier.

Used to go to this place when I was a kid it's changed a lot since then but it's still pretty good good value

I grew up on this pizza. I live in Italy now, but every time I’m home I come for dinner here. Multiple times. Best toppings, best crust. The bottom has just the perfect crunch while the rest of the crust is soft. We usually get Canadian bacon and pineapple on one half and hamburger onion green pepper black olive and mushrooms on the other. But last year I noticed you can also get pickles as a topping. Pickles!!! I’m in heaven.

Nostalgia inducing, good food and games for kiddos. Amazing pizza, did I mention?

They are open for carryout and curbside. Fairly decent pizza, could of used more sauce for my taste. My wife on the other hand loved it.

I called to check how much a pizza was and what all come on it.. the lady was very rude. Hung up on me so I called back asking to speak to the manager. She said she just spoke with me a min ago. I told her I felt she was rude and she claimed she was speaking through a mask blahs blahs blah.. then she hangs up on me again.. never again will I give my money to funhouse I love the pizza but never again

One day they are good and the next the pizza is overcooked and my order was incorrect and I only ordered two items. I wish I knew what day the good cook is there.

Pizzas are dry and not piled up like they use to be ..

Today Amy helped me she was so nice! They have Lunch specials 11-3 M-F I got small 3 topping pizza with Salad & drink Dine in for $6.03 ! Love their Canadian Bacon Pizza! Great specials and coupons make pizza affordable for me! I call ahead so my pizzas ready when I get there😊 There are humans working behind the counter..yes some days they have been crabby..the yummy Pizza and Nostalgia make up for it for me...I'm not going to let a little crab get me down👍

Good food friendly people little pricey for pizza but worth it lots of games for kids .

I've grown up with this nostalgic pizza place and love it so much. ❤ Today we ordered our pizza with extra sauce and after eating a slice or 2 realized it had little to zero sauce on it! So, my husband went back in to ask for a couple of tubs of sauce so we could just dip into it...seemed easier and more cordial than asking them to make us a new one, but now I wish we would have asked for a new one. The tub of sauce was cold and they were going to charge us extra for it, and on top of that the girl was kinda rude about it. Darn it. We will probably just go to Lee's Summit from now on. They don't treat their sauce like it's gold.

Called in an order to pickup today when I arrived to pick it up the customer service was terrible! Got home and the lid to the pizza box was stuck to the pizza! Sure makes us wish Fun house on 350 was still around!

They were not on their game tonight. The older lady, not the owner but the other one that is always there was HIGHLY rude, throwing plates "at" people when it wasn't necessary at all. We had to stand and wait for over 10 minutes for someone to get drinks and then they were just as rude to us there as well. Maybe they should have more staff or people that want to be there. Especially around holidays.

Food and drinks were good. Looks exactly like it did when I was in high school. In town for my 40 year class reunion. A little loud, hard to have a conversation at our table but other than that we had a good time and a good meal.

The pizza is very good, baked while you wait for it. A few good combinations. They have more than just pizza on the menu. Inside you order food on one end and beverages on the other end of the counter. So you have two payment sites. The place is a bit aged inside, which gives it a throw back feel but really could use a bit of touch up. I was with friends who went there decades ago when the place was packed on a weekend. The almost 2 hours we were there had very few customers unfortunately. The kitchen staff was decent. No issues.

The used to have real good pizza looked out the worst pizza ever Hey I'm not going back I paid $28 for a pizza couldn't even eat

An Independence tradition! Great pizza, far better than the chain joints.

The people that think this pizza is good have dead taste buds. I've eaten old left over frozen pizza that was better than this place. The facility is dirty and gross, smells awfully, and the pizza terrible. It's ok to judge this book by its cover, trust me when I say you are better off not going here.

Their pizza is really good! It has a saltine crust, and it's unlike any other pizza I have tasted before. I would go back again, don't let the looks fool you! The wait for each pizza is a bit long, but other than that, scrumptious!

Not even close to what they used to be. If I want Fun House Pizza I go to the one in Blue Springs. It's a longer drive for me but they're not so chintzy on the toppings.

Always loved this place but the tacos are my favorite and lately they've not had much stuff on them :/

Great toppings on pizza. If you like crispy crust you'll like Fun House pizza. Almost too crispy but I carried home. I remember perfection when eaten fresh from the oven.

Dined as delivery via Door Dash and was skeptical - as it had been a long time for both of us since we had this pizza. Our specialty - Cheeseburger Pizza was delicious - not greasy- and great taste. We also ordered - taco salad as a side and it was excellent ! Will order again! Best pizza in town! Been going there for 30 years. Combo and the cheese pizzas are our favorite. We have several ball team parties there in the past.

Needs more sauce but great pizza.

One of a kind taste from years back. Everything is great, but naturally the pizza is a must. You need to try if you have never had.
